South Shuttles and Tours Limited – Terms and Conditions (Including Limitation of Liability)
- Acceptance of Terms
By booking or using any service provided by South Shuttles and Tours (South Shuttles and Tours Limited), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use our services. - Services Provided
South Shuttles and Tours provide transport and tour services as described at the time of booking. All services are subject to availability and may be altered due to operational, safety, or environmental factors. - Bookings and Payments
All bookings must be confirmed with full or partial payment as specified at the time of reservation. The Company reserves the right to cancel any booking that is not paid in accordance with agreed terms. - Cancellations and Refunds
- Customer cancellations may be subject to fees depending on the notice period provided.
- No refunds will be issued for no-shows or late arrivals.
- The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to weather, safety concerns, insufficient bookings, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a refund or alternative arrangement may be offered at the Company’s discretion.
- Passenger Responsibilities
Passengers must:
- Arrive on time at designated pickup locations
- Follow all safety instructions from drivers or guides
- Behave in a respectful and lawful manner
The Company reserves the right to refuse service to any passenger who is intoxicated, disruptive, or poses a safety risk, without refund.
- Health and Safety
Passengers are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to travel.Any special requirements must be disclosed at the time of booking. The Company is not responsible for any health-related issues arising during or after the service. - Personal Belongings
Passengers are responsible for their own belongings at all times. The Company is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items, whether during transport or at any stop. - Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- South Shuttles and Tours shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, damage, injury, or expense arising from the use of its services.
- This includes, but is not limited to, delays, cancellations, accidents, weather conditions, road conditions, third-party actions, or events beyond the Company’s control.
- All services are used at the passenger’s own risk.
- No Liability for Third Parties
The Company may recommend or include third-party services (e.g., attractions, accommodations). South Shuttles and Tours are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or performance of any third-party provider. - Force Majeure
The Company is not liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or emergencies. - Changes to Itinerary
The Company reserves the right to modify routes, schedules, or itineraries as necessary for safety, operational efficiency, or external conditions. - Insurance
Passengers are strongly advised to obtain their own travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical expenses, personal injury, and loss of belongings. - Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts. - Amendments
South Shuttles and Tours reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
Additional Term – Child Restraints / Baby Seats
South Shuttles and Tours does not provide baby seats, child restraints, or booster seats. Passengers travelling with infants or children are solely responsible for bringing and correctly installing their own approved child restraint devices.
By booking with South Shuttles and Tours, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
